It looks like for the time being, traveling locally will be the safest bet. How lucky are we that we live in such a beautiful country? I've had Bruce Peninsula on my list for so long and it's so close to home, yet I've never been. I'm not sure when I'll actually get to go, but I've started putting together an itinerary.
Tip: book accommodations early. This place is POPULAR and gets booked months in advance.
Where to Stay
What to Do
- Village of Bayfield
- A gem of a town. There is a pioneer park with unreal blue waters that would beat the Caribbean (not temperature wise!)

- Goderich lighthouse is the best place to watch the sunset. Come an hour early to get a bench or a table for the show.
- Take a beautiful short walk (stroller friendly) along the Menesetung Bridge.
- Sauble beach is a must visit beach. Great for sunsets.
- Hike the Lion's Head trail- 15-km loop with stunning views. The hike is medium to advanced difficulty.
- Tobermory
- Grotto - easy, beautiful hike, but very crowded. Booking parking in advance is highly recommended.
- Take a glass floor boat to go to flower pot island. Another place to book in advance.
- Singing Sand beach - shallow and great for kids.
