Salt Lake City

  • Temple Square
  • Dom (organ concert on Saturdays noon)
  • Joseph Smith memorial building, take an elevator to the 10th floor.
  • Local Mormon’s Hall and church

Yellowstone National Park

Day 1:

  • Old Faithfull town Inn and visitor center
  • Grand Riverside geyser
  • Chromatic pool
  • Morning Glory pool
  • Old Faithful geyser
  • Free 45-minute historic Inn tours. Rangers lead 1:30 hour walks of the Upper Geyser basin. The best overview of Upper Geyser basin is located at Crested pool.

Day 2:

  • Grand Prismatic spring. The best time of day to visit Grand Prismatic is when the sun is high. 
  • Highly recommend to use a path that is located just past the lookout to look at the pool from the top.
  • Fairy Falls and Twin Buttes hikes.

Day 3:

  • Grand Canyon of Yellowstone: Artist Point - great at sunrise
  • For wildlife: Tower – Roosevelt area and Lamar Valley

Day 4:

  • Monument Geyser Basin 
  • Mammoth hot spring
  • Boiling River
  • Blacktail Plateau drive and Lamar valley in the evening
  • See Tower Fall  and Roosevelt Lodge

Day 5:

  • Mount Washburn hike
  • Hayden Valley

Day 6: 

  • Mistich Falls hike near Upper Geyser Basin

Grand Teton NP

Day 1

  • Cascade Canyon trail. To reach the trail, take a boat shuttle on Jenny Lake. Be sure to not miss the boat on the way back because that is an addition 3 km around the lake, but a very scenic route.

Day 2: 

  • Surprise and Amphitheater Lakes trail
